When folks from First Baptist Church get the chance to help others, we try hard to accomplish this task. For the past four years, we have worked with Blanket Appalachia (now Blanket America Ministries, Inc.) to distribute goods to people in need from our area. Blanket America supplied coats, blankets, Bibles, storybooks, cross necklaces, socks, and other items. Then members from First Baptist Dungannon along with Slant, Dungannon, and Ft. Blackmore Methodist Churches worked together to distribute these items to 182 families. These families were very thankful. Also, First Baptist extends their gratitude to all the helpers from the Methodist churches for their participation.
